The ‘Intelligence Power’ project, initiated by Turkcell in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education to introduce Turkey’s gifted students to technology and to help them discover and develop their talents at an early age, continues at full speed. In this context, with the ceremony held in Düzce BİLSEM, the collective opening of 25 new classrooms that were put into service across Turkey was made.
The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of National Education Prof. Dr. Petek Aşkar, Düzce Governor Cevdet Atay, Ministry of National Education Special Talent and Guidance General Manager Mehmet Nezir Gül and Turkcell Chairman of the Board Bülent Aksu, as well as BİLSEM teachers and students.
70 technology classes in 42 cities
The total number of technology classes reached 70 in 42 provinces, with 25 new classes recently opened within the scope of Turkcell’s ‘Intelligence Power’ project. In addition, with the Intelligence Power mobile application, students can access the educational content of 26 different courses online from anywhere. In addition, students can also receive training through the website. The Intelligence Power Education Portal contains educational content such as Arduino, Robotics, Space Sciences, Mobile Game Development, Artificial Intelligence, Smart Home, Deep Learning, which all students in Turkey can benefit from free of charge.
Over 8 million pages of content viewed
More than 8 million pages of educational content have been viewed on the Intelligence Power Education Portal to date. Within the scope of the project, 70 thousand students from all over Turkey received coding and technology training. To date, 400 thousand hours of online robotics and coding training have been given to students in classrooms.
The ‘Power of Intelligence’ project, which has reached 150 thousand families, 200 thousand students and educators so far, has won more than 400 awards in national and international competitions.
