After the SSİK meeting, which was held at the Presidential Complex under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and lasted for approximately 2.5 hours, a written statement was made by the Directorate of Communications.
In the statement, it was stated that the issues aimed at adding new ones to the domestic and national systems used by the Turkish Armed Forces and security units were discussed at SSİK. In this context, various projects regarding electronic warfare and radar systems, communication and information systems, ammunition and missiles, various platforms, unmanned land vehicles, equipment and equipment, modernization and new technologies were decided. Attention was drawn to the importance of inter-institutional coordination. Turkey, with its determination in the design, development and production of domestic and national systems and technologies, will continue to take firm steps towards the goal of a fully independent defense industry.”
