Redmi Note 10 5G review

Xiaomi’s Redmi series phones, which undoubtedly attract great attention both in the world and in our country, have won the appreciation of many users for years with their affordable price and high performance. Since users showed such great interest in the series, the brand continued to add new models to the Redmi series every year. We will take a closer look at the last link of this series, the Redmi Note 10 5G, which broke a record by selling 8 thousand units in one minute as soon as it went on sale in China.

As someone who has been following the development of the Redmi series from past to present, it seems that Xiaomi has pushed the limits in the Redmi Note 10 5G. Before moving on to the features of the Redmi Note 10 5G, which is a powerful phone in terms of both design and hardware features, let’s take a look at the box contents.

When we open the box, we first see another small box. It contains booklets that we never even look at, a warranty certificate and most importantly, a transparent phone case. Fortunately, you don’t need to go and pay 100-200 TL and buy a cover anymore.

When we remove this tiny box, we encounter the Redmi Note 10 5G. On the sticker on the screen, we see the features of the phone. MediaTek Dimensity processor, 6.5-inch screen with 90 Hz screen refresh rate, triple camera setup led by 48 MP main camera and 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support… We will detail these features in the coming minutes.

After lifting the phone, we see the charging cable and a charging adapter at the bottom of the box.

Let’s take a closer look at the design of the Redmi Note 10 5G. In general, I prefer darker colored models such as blue and black on phones. However, this green case of the Redmi Note 10 5G looks very stylish in my opinion. This phone is also available in chrome silver, graphite gray and midnight blue color variants. Color options are also good…

On the lower face of the Redmi Note 10, there is the speaker grill, USB Type-C input and the built-in microphone, while on the right edge we see the power button and volume up / down keys. Let’s say that the power button also works as a fingerprint scanner. This browser works pretty fast, the screen unlocks as soon as you touch it. On the left, we see the SIM card slot with dual SIM card support. At the top of the phone, there is a 3.5 mm headphone socket. On the back of the device, there is a triple camera setup.

With a weight of 190 grams and a thickness of 9 mm, the Redmi Note 10 is a heavier and thicker phone compared to the other model without 5G.

Let’s come to the screen of the Redmi Note 10 5G… Having a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen design, the phone offers Full HD + screen resolution. Another point that caught my attention, along with the 83 percent screen/body ratio, is the 90 Hz screen refresh rate support. When we set up the phone, the 60 Hz screen refresh rate is selected. If you want, you can quickly switch to 90 Hz by entering the screen settings. Increasing the screen refresh rate means a smoother user interface.

Another feature of the screen that I like is that it automatically changes the screen refresh rate according to the usage of the user. The Redmi Note 10 5G automatically adapts to any content, from streaming video at 30Hz or 60Hz to watching social media content or playing games at 90Hz. Definitely an important point…

The Redmi Note 10 5G, which comes with Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection and is shock-resistant, reaches up to 400 NIT screen brightness.

Unlike the Redmi Note 10, this model does not have a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and uses a MediaTek Dimensity 700 5G processor. As can be seen from the model, this processor has 5G support. It is possible to play compelling games like PUBG Mobile fluently with high graphic quality with this phone.

On the audio side, the Redmi Note 10 5G has become a phone that exceeds expectations thanks to its high-resolution audio certification. While playing games and watching movies, you are fully focused on the content on the screen thanks to the high-definition audio support.

Let’s come to the camera performance… Redmi Note 10 5G uses the triple camera system on the back. The main camera with f / 1.8 aperture, which can take images in 48 MP resolution, is accompanied by a 2 MP macro camera and a 2 MP depth sensor. It is also possible to record Full HD 30fps video. On the front, the 8 MP camera is preferred and is positioned in the middle of the screen.

Let’s dig into the camera features. When we want to take a 48 MP resolution image, we have to go to the More tab and select 48 MP, and the details in the photos are reflected in the lens down to the finest detail. Again, by using the night mode, you can take clear photos in an environment with insufficient light, while it is possible to use the slow motion feature.

Redmi Note 10 5G Pro gets its energy from a 5000 mAh battery. It also comes with 18W wired fast charging support.

This phone has two different models. Both models have 4GB of RAM. You can choose between 64 GB or 128 GB models. However, my recommendation is the 128 GB model, considering the increasing need for storage capacity today. On the other hand, microSD card support is also available and we can increase the total memory later.

When it comes to connection technologies, 5G support comes to the fore at this point. Although it has not been activated in our country yet, you will be ready for the latest technology with this phone when it is put into use. Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC technologies are also supported.

We can say that the Redmi Note 10 5G, which is offered for sale with a price tag of 3649 TL, is a phone that does good work in many respects.
