Türk Telekom brought the 24-hour bicycle race to Istanbul, which has attracted great interest in the world. ‘Turk Telekom Istanbul 24-hour Boostrace’, which was held for the first time in Turkey, took place on 21-22 August 2021 at the Intercity Istanbul Park race track. There were colorful moments in the struggle of 73 different teams. Team spirit and solidarity were the most important elements that stood out throughout the race.
The race, in which the spectators participated in the great struggle of the athletes, attracted attention from bicycle lovers. While the track was opened to all visitors, including children, on the morning of the race, bike lovers pedaled on the Formula track.
Teams of 2, 4 or 6 people participating in ‘Türk Telekom Istanbul 24 Hour Boostrace’ pedaled for 24 hours alternately. With the support of the audience, the teams that completed the race, which continued day and night, put up an important struggle. Istanbul Governor Ali Yerlikaya presented the awards of the winners in the categories of “Female athlete with the most laps” and “Male athlete with the most laps”.
