Creative Assembly’s epic strategy game Total War Warhammer 3 has been delayed. Total War: Warhammer 3, which was announced in February of this year, was expected to be released towards the end of 2021. The makers of the game, in a statement made on Twitter today, stated that this extra time they will work on the game will enable them to publish Warhammer much better.
Total War Warhammer 3 delayed for better release
The statement made from the official Total War account included the following statements:
“While we are excited to be nearing the end of the project, we have decided to put a little more time into Total War: Warhammer 3 and delay the game’s release date from 2021 to 2022.
We won’t keep you waiting long though, and we have a lot to share with you while we wait for the game. Our newly determined release date will allow the game to be released much better and open the door to a new era for Total War: Warhammer.
We don’t see Total War: Warhammer 3 as the end of this series, and we plan to keep the game alive for the long haul with years of support and content streaming.”
Even if Total War Warhammer 3 has been delayed, the previously announced Grand Cathay community launch will take place on September 14 – tomorrow – as planned. From here Total War: Warhammer 3 Steam you can access the page.
